This is the end.

Dear readers,

Everything has an end and after six wonderful years of Playground&Imperfection, it's time to close it. For the moment there's no continuation in the form of another blog or social network of any kind.

The truth is, I'm no longer that interested in fashion or design - although I still enjoy it (work on it, with less joy and satisfaction than when I was looking at it from the outside). Blogs are opened for a reason and as soon as you reach the goal you should be able to let it go and find your place somewhere else. They are phases in your life, and about a few months ago I overcame this one. Like on a tv show, you must stop when things are still hot, otherwise you leave place for disappointment and boredom.

If you want to contact me for any reason, just leave a comment and I will reach. The emails that were attached to this blog are no longer available.

Once again thank you all for your support, I wish all the best.

Hugs,

L.

Queridos lectores,

L.

A fashion blog

Dear readers,

This blog has been included in the book Fashion Blogs - From musings on personal taste to style reports around the globe... You can take a brief look here.

It's a great honour. Thanks, once again, for your support.

Best regards to all.

the fashion feast

Once again I'm doing big procastination around the blog, but with the purpose of letting you know I'm still here (hey there!), here's a sort recap of the things that I like during this season fashion weeks (NY, London, Milan and Paris) - I have been pretty lazy to develop full articles around each bullet point, neatly compiled in my moleskine; my sincere apologies.

The top 10:

Prada patterns
1. No pants, just skirts in New York. I thought winter was tough in the city of Carrie but designers are challenging females to show their barelegs. Check Carolina Herrera, Derek Lam, Diane Von Fustemberg, Catherine Malandrino and Calvin Klein

2. Prada ugly patterns in suits. Love them!

3. The increasing notoriety of bloggers and blog photographers during fashion week.

4. The massive protagonism of streetstyle during fashion week. Who cares about the shows inside when you can get genuine material outside?

5. What was Marc Jacobs thinking when he design his collectionS? Each season gets harder to tell which collection is Marc Jacobs and which is Louis Vuitton - they look pretty much alike.

6. Pilati has divorced Yves Saint Laurent, with a terrific and very dramatic collection, very accurate for the moment or for a funeral. Hedi Slimane is The Sustitute.

7. Best collection: Chloé.

8. People is actually wearing Balenciaga's visor. Too much people - Anna dello Russo doesn't count. My prediction: during the next fashion week, everybody will be doing Marc Jacobs hats - Anna dello Russo doesn't count. $3.200 for a very ridiculous accesory that should have never step out of the catwalk.

9. The definite end of the fashion critic. Twitter killed the article.

10. Indigo, the colour.
