I love fashion photography; all the fantasy involved (by the hand of the photographer, the make--up artist, the lighting, the expressiveness of the model, the oufit and, of course, the photoshop) and this feeling that carries you to different universes where everything is posible, including the most extravagant contorsionist poses and pin-up in cocaine expressions.
The Spanish artist Yolanda Domínguez has just presented her work Poses; where women from the street in randomly normal situations pose like in fashion photography.
When you bring the fashion magic to the stree everything looks so absurb, but... Isn't it better to live dreaming? Would a hing-end piece of clothing be as actractive as it is without an environment that recreates an imaginary world where everything is possible.

Adoro la fotografía de moda, toda la fantasía que envuelve (magia del fotógrafo, los maquilladores, la iluminación, la expresividad del modelo, las prendas de ropa y por supuesto, del photoshop) y esa sensación que te teletrasporta a otros universos donde todo es posible; incluidas las más extravagantes poses de contorsionista y expresiones de pin-up encocainada.
La artista española Yolanda Domínguez ha presentado su trabajo Poses donde expone a mujeres de la calle en situaciones normales representando las poses y expresiones de fotografías de moda.
Cuando acercas la magia de la moda a la calle toda parece tan absurdo, pero... ¿no es mejor vivir soñando? sería tan atractiva una prenda de vestir sin una ambientación que recreara un mundo imaginario donde todo es posible?
