The september issue of Vogue Paris is already out. Well, not really until the 22nd of August, but first images have already been displayed.

Since Emmanuelle Alt embraced the role of Carinne Roitfield at the publication I've been anxiously waiting for this moment. Everybody knows the september issue is the most important of the year due to its sellings, and therefore the one with the highest expectations.

I'm disappointed.

The cover and the socialité selected to be the cover aren't the best choice: Charlotte Casiraghi would be ok for one of the soft/boring issues of in-between seasons.

Maybe under the hands of a different photographer - pictures are by Mario Testino - the result would have been a little bit more avant-garde and innovative.

La edición de septiembre de Vogue Paris ya está a la venta. En realidad, hay que esperar hasta el 22 de agosto, pero las primeras imágenes ya han visto la luz.

Desde que Emmanuelle Alt ocupó el puesto de Carine Roitfield en la publicación he estado esperando este comento con ansias. Todos sabemos que el número de septiembre es el más importante del año, por su volumen de ventas y que, por tanto, es el que genera mayores expectativas.

Personalmente, a mi no me gusta.

La portado y la personas elegida para el principal reportaje no han sido la mejor opción: Charlotte Casiraghi debería ocupar uno de los números de los meses blandos o aburridos de entre temporadas. 

Quizás, con otro fotógrafo (las fotos son de Mario Testino) el resultado hubiese sido mejor: más innovador y avant-garde.
